Mascarin Stampi: mold construction and testing

Mascarin Stampi specializes in the production of 1K, 2K and 3K molds in series or prototypes up to a weight of 16 tons especially for frames, reflectors, bodies and light guides of front and rear lights and lenses for rear lights, but also for other external components or interior of the car. Thanks to continuous investments, the company manufactures its molds using machining centers with advanced machinery: high-speed cutters with automated pallet change and wire and plunge EDM machines. The produced molds, systematically subjected to a rigorous control process, are characterized by dimensional and detail precision. Thanks to the flexibility that characterizes our company, we are also able to meet the increasingly demanding deadlines required by customers in the sector. Upon completion of the process, in the testing department equipped with injection presses, the mold is subjected to testing procedures to start it for production. Mascarin Stampi also has a specialized internal department dedicated to 3D measurements of plastic and steel parts, in order to offer the customer a fast control tool and a targeted corrections process. A rationally structured internal organization, the rigor of the control systems adopted and a business philosophy aimed at constant technological updating, allow Mascarin Stampi to have high quality standards. It develops more than 80,000 hours of work per year and widely uses computerized methods for the management and transfer of data between the technical office, the workshop and the control department.
